LESSON 11

Students will understand:
-  That there are different approaches to measuring success

How and when – workplan, budget considerations, success indicators

-  Teacher will provide instruction on how to prepare a workplan, what to consider in a budget and examples of success indicators

-  Students will continue to research and work on their grant proposal requirements


Guest Speakers on success indicators

-  Guest speakers will discuss with students different approaches of measuring success, including qualitative measures, quantitative measures and traditional ecological knowledge measures

LESSON 12

Students will understand:
-  how to complete a grant application.

Work period
-  Students will continue to research and work on their grant proposal requirements

Assessment

Formative: ongoing informal observation, weekly student-teacher conferencing, peer feedback, self assessment against rubric
