UNIT OVERVIEW

Time frame: 8 weeks - twice a week for 3 hours each with a half hour break for each session. This will result in 40 hours of total work time.

These sessions will occur in time that is specifically designated for whole school initiatives. Disciplinary classes will continue to occur during the week, however, during these times, a class of grade 7, a class of grade 8 and a class of grade 9 students will meet together. The majority of sessions will contain a mini-lesson and time for students to apply the mini-lesson as well as the disciplinary knowledge they are gaining outside of the unit.
