PROTOTYPE: RAINWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM

How can we make our school garden more environmentally sustainable?

Scenario:

In this project, students in Ms Polly Cockett's class at Werklund Junior High School are researching, designing, and building a functioning system that will collect rainwater to water the garden in their school courtyard. This project aims to promote self-reliant infrastructure and create a smaller environmental footprint for the school community.

The artefacts shown here are a proposal letter to request funding from the Sustainability project fund at the school, a budget based on information found online, and blueprints for the final product.
